Not sure what to say? That’s easy—just let me know how you found me and that you’re looking for a therapist and are interested in getting started.
What happens next? I’ll schedule a free 15-minute phone call to learn more about what’s bringing you to therapy and answer any questions you might have. Then we can schedule your first session. If I am not the right fit, don't worry, I will offer 2-3 referrals to other therapists in the community.
I look forward to connecting and learning more about you.
I believe that everyone should have access to quality mental health care. To support this, I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for therapy sessions. If you are interested in discussing sliding scale options or have any questions about the process, please feel free to reach out. I’m happy to provide more details and work with you to find a solution that fits your needs. Your well-being is important, and I'm here to help!
Yes, I offer telehealth sessions to individuals residing throughout California. Whether you're in Sacramento or San Diego, we can connect conveniently via a secure telehealth platform. I utilize HIPPA-compliant tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or SimplePractie to ensure that our sessions are safe and confidential. This flexibility allows you to prioritize your mental health from the comfort of your own home while maintaining a high standard of privacy and security.
I understand that many clients have concerns about the duration of therapy and how many sessions may be needed. It's important to recognize that the number of sessions can vary greatly depending on the individual goals, and progress. Together, we will work to establish a plan that feels right for you, and we can regularly assess your needs as we go along. My priority is to support you in a way that feels comfortable and effective.
I believe that the therapeutic relationship is a crucial part of the healing process. As we begin our sessions, it's completely normal for it to take some time to determine whether we are the right fit for each other. Typically, this process can take anywhere from one to four sessions. During this time, we will explore your goals, concerns, and preferences to see how we can best work together.
It's important to me that you feel comfortable and supported in our sessions, and I encourage open communication. If at any point you are uncertain or have questions about our work together, please don't hesitate to share your thoughts. If it is determined that we are not a good fit, I will gladly provide referrals.
Great news, there is parking located in front of the office building. If these spaces are taken, there is plenty of parking on Sepulveda and side streets. If you are heading into session between 3pm-6pm street parking on Sepulveda is not available but side streets still are.
While I do not take insurance, upon request I can provide a superbill you can submit for possible reimbursement to your insurance. Reimbursement is determined by your specific insurance plan, so be sure to contact your insurance provider and confirm your specific plan’s out-of-network mental health benefits.
Please note that issuing a superbill requires me to provide you with a mental health diagnosis that will be added to your medical record. For the purpose of confidentiality I will not communicate with your insurance provider directly.
Helpful questions to ask your insurance are:
Does my health insurance plan include out-of-network mental health benefits?
If so, what percentage amount is covered?
Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
I strive to provide the best care and support to my clients. To ensure this is able to happen, clients must provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
If you late cancel, miss an appointment, or ask to reschedule day of, you will be responsible for paying the standard fee of your session. Sessions booked within a 24 hour period are considered confirmed and the same policy will be upheld. I do not offer multiple rescheduling of appointments.

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE / NO SURPRISES ACT 2024
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
